Washing in a washing machine damages the natural density and properties of wool! We therefore recommend hand-washing our wool products as infrequently as possible. Usually, simply removing stubborn stains with a damp cloth and shaking out and airing the wool items is sufficient. Since wool cannot withstand high water temperatures, hand-washing should only be done in cold water with a suitable wool detergent. To dry, ideally lay wool products on a terry towel or hang them on a clothesline. Tumble dryers, radiators, or direct sunlight for drying will damage the product.
